Holding the Light

Jerry Pethick is a Canadian sculptor who incorporates organic and man-made materials into a unique visual perception.  He is a pioneer in the use of recycled materials, holography, and optical lenses.  In this work, Pethick plays with the viewer's observational skills, giving the illusion of three dimension on a two dimensional surface.
