Through the City to the Ocean

The artist created this painting as a proposal for a cast hatch cover.  Although the design was not selected, the painting is part of the Portable Collection.  He included elements from our rich Northwest environment that represents the movement of water from the mountains to the ocean, rain flowing through rivers to the Puget Sound.  Our native salmon swim in the local waterways.
