Opalesce Bow

Painted in a style that at one time might have been regarded as avant-garde (geometric abstraction), this work now seems almost quaint. The style and subject matter leave a nostalgic impression of another time (the 1970s). As artworks age, the criterion for judging them changes. After the shock of the new wears off, they can be judged as to whether or not they suitably reflect a particular period.
