This image from my Roadside Attraction series was born from a need to reconcile my transitory childhood spent living between two parents in Texas and Arizona and the images became a visual elegy for a childhood spent constantly moving, both honoring memories of these spaces while recognizing the sense of loss of never having a place to call home. Apache Power Station is situated in the middle of nowhere, 20 miles away from my favorite camping spot, the Cochise Stronghold. –Artist statement
