Refuse Beach

Refuse Beach is one of the first works in a series of work titled Archipelago. It is both invented fiction and real landscape. I've used tracings of machine parts and an island landscape to create an interesting view of the future. I'd like to think this was a view of an island on earth a million years from now when all of the machines we create are tilled back into the natural landscape. –Artist statement
