Traveler #3

The images in my paintings emerge from a process which begins with small scale artist's books in which I combine painted, invented images with ones that I lift through various Xerox processes. Most of the images are put together in parts, in which the main image is associated by a secondary image. The gap between the images seems to allow the viewer a greater role in piecing together a reading of the work.
