After Image G.P.

I look at the phenomenon of video from its basic elements of the phosphorescent screen and the fading image that happens too rapidly for our eyes to perceive. . . I like to recreate it. . . to capture a moment, ordinarily unseen by our slowly reacting eyes, onto paper. . .  work with those things one doesn't usually see, but might glance or perceive faintly, those mementos of electronic events.  All the elements are there, though perhaps not immediately apparent.  Look closely. –Artist statement
