Passion X

Light is my main interest in visual expression. Inspiration comes from ancient esoteric texts to cutting edge cosmology and quantum mechanics, as in both, ancient tradition and modern science – the nature of Light converges.  Here the light shimmers on woven-like fabrics in the 'Passion' cycle.  The dialectic opposition of light and darkness plays a key role in the 'drama' of my prints.  The fabric, through small white incisions on the border, expands and blends into infinity of the Universe, thus transcending suffering trapped in the material world.
