Geschke's work deals with oblique personal and social narratives. He examines the use of portraiture in the form of painted portraits or statuary displayed publicly as a form of propaganda, such as veneration of government officials, monarchs, military leaders, religious figures; or to espouse certain ideologies.  Geschke feels these depictions display an unintentional satirical or psychologically awkward portrait.  In this piece, however the characters are of his own fictional creation.
