Self-Portrait

Nordfors is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts.  His paintings are biographical and bridge the two disciplines of painting and sculpture.  In this work, the artist has replicated an entire solo art exhibition, including the walls, floor and ceiling, inside the trunk of his body.  Looking carefully, you will discover this piece, Self Portrait hanging on one of the walls, surveying the crowds of ghost-like people who attended the exhibit opening. Each of the other works depicted on the walls is an actual artwork the artist has created.
