A Better Trap

As objects so frequently represent the culture which produces them, I have been attempting to 'synthesize' the still life tradition with that of various figurative genres.  Palette choices also have an historical reference in their selection aside from being dictated by the imagery.  Here I am attempting to present an all too common architectural environment as a form of still life, in this case, a singular object.
