By the mid 20th Century a new suburban landscape was developing as ranch style homes and A-frames were popping up across the country. My Paintings both embrace and repel this change. Pop references are strong in my paintings, seemingly offering something substantial yet pulling back, offering no detail or narrative. –Artist statement
