Sinkhole Fire

A theme that has continuously engaged the artist is that of moments caught on city streets.  These drawings become etchings in a series she calls Street Friezes.  Every mark must count towards building images that are representational, narrative, full of invention, humor and pain.  Working with a graphic medium means making an effort to communicate.  The small scale helps to draw the viewer in for a closer look so the details will be noticed and interaction can take place.
