The North Cascades: Part 1 - Rampant Ridge

This print relates to the artist’s perception of our environment and the cultural influences in our lives.  Anderson’s interest in the natural environment, particularly the North Cascades, is shown as elements that are part of our culture, our heritage.  Also included are several images of guns, not because the artist approves of them but because he wants you to be aware of how predominant the gun is in the American culture.  Just as the fish thrives in our surrounding environment, so also does the gun culture.
