The North Cascades: Part 1 - Johannesbury Mountain

All of Patrick Anderson’s prints use a screen printing process, which is called serigraphy or silk screen.  He cuts directly into a transparent film with an Exacto knife to reveal a positive image that is mounted to a screen and inked.  Because the image he makes is positive, it gives him a direct sense of the picture and acts like a drawing.
