The top symbol represents the sun, the middle, a male Inupiat (one from Northern Alaska) dancer with an Eagle Tail Dance headdress and a swimming walrus with air bubbles at the bottom. At celebration gatherings, it is common for a hunter to dance and share their story with the community of their success. The Eagle Tail headdress is usually worn by a successful male hunter, a good provider for his family and the community. Eagles are highly regarded as a spiritual symbol.
