Dark Pools

This print centers on the artist's fascination with water, pools, seas and how water moves in defined spaces, thereby creating whirlpools.  She often works with images of movement, from natural forms and phenomena, the vortex and spill of moving water, and from the articulations of the built world.  During her investigations she was dazzled by the codices of da Vinci, and his related studies of water movement around obstacles.
