The artist has captured the treasured glow of sunrise over terrain of city and water remains familiar, even though it has greatly changed since the 1980s.  Here the artist reconfigures our perspective of the familiar horizon line capturing  the early light of morning and spreading it out wide over two separate windows  A sense of time and movement is derived from this segmentation.
