Salmon is the symbol of Abundance and Prosperity, Instinct, Persistence and Determination. Taku Red is a reflection on an annual event which Edzerza witnessed as a child. Each year in the far Northwest of British Columbia, the Magnificent Taku river ran red with migrating salmon.
