Thunder Birds

Thunderbirds are giant supernatural creatures that live at the tops of the highest mountains. In my culture, those mountains are the Olympics. When the people were in great need, they would climb the mountains to seek out Thunderbird and appeal for help. This was always a difficult quest and was very dangerous. –Artist statement
