Broken Chair

The artist lives and works in Chicago.  She is a part-time faculty member for the Photography Department at Columbia College in Chicago.  This image is from a series titled the Apartment Project.  The images in this project consist of photographs of the artist's apartment and a miniature replica of that same apartment.  In general, the pictures of the miniature apartment seem too perfect.  This image is the first sign that something is amiss. –Artist statement
