Description: Two outdoor benches in the shape of light bulbs are located near a pathway through the north edge of the landscaped grounds of the facility.  Made of open stainless steel mesh, these sculptural semi-circular benches have the form of a light bulb, cut in half, rising from the bench back.

Artist Statement: The two benches feature a stylized light bulb in a porcelain socket. They rise out of the landscape with a silvery finish that reflects the color of the sky.  They are functional benches for strollers and dog walkers who use the path through the substation.  They are also mechanical and electrical in nature, referring to the construction of the electrical equipment and transmission towers of the substation itself.
