Big Rain

This work takes as its inspiration the ancient mystical relationship between artist and nature expressed abstractly in wood which has historically existed in the Native American cultures of the Northwest Coast. Like a contemporary, geometric totem, it pays homage to those traditions without copying or co-opting them.
