Plume vs. Plume

In my current work, I create vignettes that incorporate humor, narration and vibrant color.  I enjoy playing with visual implications drawn from the juxtaposition of unrelated items within a frame.  In this piece, the naivete of the natural world is confronted by a man-made force beyond comprehension.  The perplexed birds watch, fully unaware of their immediate impending fate. –Artist statement
