Deluge

Climate change has created higher global temperatures and increased the severity of storms and flooding.  Those who attempt to discredit climate change have pointed to instances of colder weather and heavy rain as proof that the planet is not getting hotter.  By highlighting outliers in a model and ignoring overall trends they attempt to distract from the consilience of climate science.  They shift the onus of proof from themselves by relentlessly inundating systems with fallacies to mainstream fringe arguments and keep people reacting rather than creating proactive solutions. –Artist statement
