Undisturbed

My works explore specific emotions or expectations of femininity, aging, and creative lifestyles in society. In a society that has become accustomed to interacting mostly in a digital world, my work invites viewers to interpret body language, look into the subject's eyes, and even touch the pieces to activate elements. My goal for this artwork was to create a piece showing the restraint and frustration around the word 'fine'. Womxn are expected to say 'fine' when asked how we are but are also criticized for it. –Artist statement
