These sisters dancing by the fire are women that are in traditional regalia and surrounded by mountains an elements and are praying and in ceremony for the environment. Ceremony is important when it comes to land because that's where our ancestors are buried . . . and we all at one point return to earth so we should honor it with ceremony. –Artist statement
