The title, the abstracted symbols and the bold arrangement of colors depicted in this work direct our thoughts toward man's alarming history associated with nuclear production. Regionally, we are reminded of the appalling impact the nuclear industry has had upon the Hanford Reservation, the surrounding landscape of Eastern Washington and the Columbia River. Associations are revealed to us without the artist openly affirming man as the perpetrator.
