Ten bronze plaques and ten bronze medallions on concrete bollards which border different sets of stairs going down to the water at the sandy beach area.  They are located along the West Seattle Cultural Trail which extends from Alki Beach to the Duwamish River.  The medallions were cast from shells found at Alki Beach.  The West Seattle Cultural Trail Phase I art elements (pavers, insets, plaques, medallions and viewing devices) are grouped into a common theme, interweaving nature and culture with the historic and botanical to showcase the memories associated with this place.

Location: (multiple) Alki Avenue Southwest between 60th Avenue South and 64th Avenue South
