I combine my contemporary aesthetics to create sculptures that speak of our incredible loss of native people and natural environments.  As I attempt to catch a glimpse of the lives of the native people of the world I am struck by the stories their objects tell. . . .The objects other meaning, their essence, and the spirits that drove their creators to embellish and go beyond function emanate from the objects and captivate me. –Artist statement
