Description: The artwork consists of four cut aluminum or cut stainless steel powder coated panels in various forms.

Artist Statement: My work is inspired by my geography. I was born and raised in Seattle and am profoundly connected to the city and the local landscape. Much of my work has grown out of my relationship to the ebb and flow of my history here. This project continues my ongoing interest in making sense of the infrastructure of the city with the mapping of both real and imaginary space.

Visually my wall drawings function as both micro and macro worlds, depending on the perception of the viewer. There are abstract linear systems that mirror the flow of energy pathways as well as more specific references to Northwest geography, like the outline of a familiar region or the echoing shape of a bend in the Skagit River.
