Double Concave Pentagon

Incorrectly labeled as a minimalist, my sculpture has involved illusionary structures and situations lending to perceptual ambiguity. My use of visual ambiguity developed from a combined interest in engineering drawing, perceptual psychology, and hidden image phenomena. Teaching mechanical drawing and descriptive geometry, the pictorial concepts in drafting provided the structural frame for all my sculpture.  –Artist statement
