Theory of Night

This is a feverish mathematician's approach to the mystery of darkness and light of a pseudo-scientific approach to the subject of night.  It looks like a scientific drawing -- complete with notations in the margins.  It may signify and prove nothing; nevertheless, it remains attractive and mysterious.
