Fiesta Series #2

Hammer, a longtime Northwest artist has investigated a variety of artistic expressions since she completed this abstraction.  Currently she is best known for her site-specific permanent installations in public City spaces.  Her richly colored geometric shapes in this piece are in high contrast to her mosaic tile pieces or the narrative horse paintings.  Here her overlapping forms suggest layers in space.
