Description: The traditional dancers – Pueblo Buffalo Dancer, Navajo Yebeichi Dancer, and Apache Spirit Dancer – are shown in authentic costume. In modern times, these dances are occasionally performed without the prescribed manner of dress, and this is often referred to as “Mickey-Mousing.” Accordingly, a head of Mickey Mouse is included in the gallery watching the performance.
