As a self-taught artist with a background in mathematics, I work in the area where analytical ideas and art meet. The result, on canvas, is what the process of thinking about math looks like to me. By allowing the paintings to operate like a chalkboard in my studio, gradually filling up with analytical concepts, I translate the intricate world of mathematical relationships into something everyone can see.  –Artist statement
