Star Chart Series: Orion

Like random pieces of fabric on a table top, this work is almost like a rebus (a kind of picture puzzle). These ambiguous elements fail to define themselves into a scene, map, quilt or still life. It is the artist's prerogative to offer up stable or disorienting images, and the viewer's prerogative to try and decipher them or not.
