Carnival

I'm interested in the way people move around on the land. I'm interested in the times that nature bends towards human beings, and I'm interested in the way people move through nature. I'm interested in the mysterious way that people and nature meet. I think if you are really consciously aware of where you are -- if you're really awake -- then you can see that the space you inhabit is miraculous. I try to put that in my paintings. –Artist statement
