Corner buildings with their intersections always catch my interest, as this one does. The heavy multilayered edifice with its colorful street level stores contrasts with the rainy, delicate, and colorless distant background. The men in the foreground, portrays a human aspect posing still and distinct from the backdrop of the never ending array of Seattle's buildings and pulsating crowds. –Artist statement
