Ms. Hammer became interested in an inaccessible architecture; buildings that are conceived to be less rather than more "user friendly.” Why ponder such an architecture? Perhaps because much real contemporary architecture and urban design often succeeds in being inaccessible. The artist has done a series of sketches here that comment on architecture and therefore exposes flaws as well as beauty.
