One side of the metal is a reinterpretation of the City Seal. Salmon surround the profile of Chief Seattle, Distinguished Citizen. The other side depicts images representative of Seattle. Including the Space Needle, rain and clouds/sun, a kayaker, the cityscape and mountains in the background.
