I try to capture the complexity of the human experience in portraiture while presenting figures that suggest kinship. Dividual #128 is one of 7 similar works. They all have a singular figure in a box; call it personal space if you will. Although the figures are similar in appearance, their boxes or environments are drastically different. You never truly know what is going on in another person's world, life or mind. –Artist statement
