History of Modern Art

An underlying theme in my artwork is the scientific premise that all things in our universe are connected.  Specific to my current work is my investigation of the interconnection of ideas.  If we are all made up of the same stellar dust and gas from the 'Big Bang,' then what about our thoughts?  . . . Where does one idea end and another begin?  Is there an underlying spiritual nature to thought or just a mental synapse?  I ask these questions not to find concrete proofs but in an attempt to visualize the sublime nature of the pure 'idea'. –Artist statement
