Description: The 74 glass panels are faceted to form a sweeping curved glass wall that divides the main lobby and the public reception room.  Each panel is approximately 20” high by 36” wide and contains an image. The images were created from photographs taken by the artist and from archival collections.

Artist Statement: Each image reveals a fragment of the city’s built and natural environment.  The images together form a very personal view of a walk through the city now, thirty years ago, fifty or more years ago.  The use of color, form and the juxtaposition of shapes evoke an emotional landscape of our city, Seattle.

Location: Main Lobby of City Hall, Bertha Knight Landes Conference Room
