I create my figures from memories, a place where the sense of time expands and contracts, allowing me to examine myself in a larger context. Filtering through my memory I become more aware of connections with my personal history and cultural heritage, and into the present reality.
On the hand, memory is the place where I am less restricted from the structural reality. I examine and visualize the meaning of scale, space, materials and dimensions in my memories.
