Hildegard von Bingen

This is an anamorphically distorted portrait of 'possible fathers,' and 'possible mothers' in my ongoing body of work questioning and parodying intellectual patrimony.  I imagined myself as an intellectual orphan and sought out individuals that I had mythologized. Hildgard Von Bingen (1098-1179) was a German abbess and mystic, one of the earliest known female composers.
