Mirroring

Mirroring was based on reflections at a marina  in Seattle. There is so much beauty in all of the incongruous, unresolved fluctuation in the city. The marina on Lake Union at night is strange and still and almost other-worldly. There is balance in what I see and what I paint, but it is asymmetrical, irrational, disjointed, a mash-up of time and purpose. –Artist statement
