Portland artist Naomi Shigeta says of her work My work is a reflection of my everyday concerns and thoughts. As our world progresses, it is an increasing challenge to find the balance between the drive of daily life and maintaining a place in nature we often take for granted. I enjoy creating art in a region like the NW, which strongly influences and adds character to my resulting pieces.
