The Sleep of Monsters

The Sleep of Monsters is part of a series of drawings in which, using only black and white, I explored this idea of the imperfect double and questioned reality. Inspired in its composition and concept by Goya's etching, The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters, the drawing explores the territory where rational and irrational blur, where imagination takes over reality or vice-versa. –Artist statement
