This was taken in the Olympia area. I have lost many dear friends of late, so I started looking to clouds when thinking of them. In the process I have found many wonderful shapes and forms to photograph as clouds are constantly changing and moving.
I have photographed for over 53 years professionally. My work is included in many permanent collections across the country as well as represented widely in books, magazines and newspapers. Lifting the Veil: The Northwest Landscapes of Mary Randlett, University of Washington Press was printed in 2000. A recent book written by Delores Tarzan Ament entitled, Iridescence Light: The Emergence of Northwest Art (University of Washington Press) features Randlett's artist photographs.
